Our state-of-the-art HandySCAN BLACK 3D scanner was recently tested at the Czech Metrological Institute (ČMI), which is the national metrological institute of the Czech Republic. The main focus of the testing was to verify the accuracy of the scans on a number of different artifacts.
HandySCAN BLACK is one of the professional 3D scanners in the field of 3D scanning. This machine is equipped with blue laser crosses that provide very fast and accurate scanning with high resolution. With its lightweight and easily portable design, and intuitive software, the HandySCAN BLACK is the ideal tool for anyone who requires accurate 3D scanning.
During the testing, ČMI focused on the key parameters of the 3D scanner, such as scanning accuracy, speed and the ability to capture details on a wide range of materials and surfaces. The test protocol included a series of measurements and comparisons of the scanned artifacts with their original dimensions.
The testing yielded positive results, with the HandySCAN BLACK demonstrating a high level of accuracy and scanning speed. The dimensions of the scanned objects matched their actual dimensions with minimal deviation.
In addition to the scanner's hardware capabilities, its software was also praised. “The scanner software is very intuitive and easy to work with. This enables fast and smooth work with 3D data.”
In conclusion, it can be stated that the testing of our HandySCAN BLACK 3D scanner at the Czech Metrological Institute confirmed its high accuracy, speed and ability to capture details on various artifacts. The verification showed that the scanner is even more accurate than the manufacturer's technical specification.
We look forward to further cooperation with ČMI and to the application of our scanner in other applications.
