Creating a mobile phone cover using 3D Scan

Based on my experience with 3D scans and 3D printing, I decided to create a mobile phone cover using this combination of technologies.

First, I scanned the mobile using the HandySCAN BLACK Elite 3D scanner and then created a CAD model using the Geomagic Design X software. After creating the CAD model, I exported it in STL format, which PrusaSlicer is able to process and print on the Original Prusa i3 MK3S+ 3D printer.

This process is available to anyone who has access to these technologies and the knowledge needed to use them.

I chose these technologies for several reasons:

First of all, 3D scanning is very accurate and allows you to capture all the details of the object, which is crucial when creating a mobile phone cover.

Second, the Geomagic Design X software is very advanced and allows you to easily create and edit 3D models based on scanned data.

Thirdly, the Original Prusa i3 MK3S+ 3D printer is one of the most reliable printers on the market that allows you to print objects with high precision and quality.

The combination of these technologies makes it possible to create a mobile phone cover that is precisely adapted to a specific phone model.
