Today, 3D scanning is often a common part of the work processes of companies with a variety of focus.
Sometimes it is used regularly to improve the quality and efficiency of production, somewhere only occasionally when needed.
And so it was in this case as well. We were asked to 3D scan a cast impeller for dimensional checking against the CAD model.
It took one hour, one worker and one scanner MetraScan Black Elite.
