Introducing the TILIKUM robotic workplace

we would like to introduce you to the new robotic workplace tilikum for automated inspection of manufactured parts.

For a long time, we registered inquiries about suitable inspection workplaces in the production premises, where automated inspection of manufactured parts could take place. Based on the results of the survey, we started developing this workplace.

The resulting Tilikum inspection workplace consists of the following main parts:

• 3D scanner HandySCAN 3D BLACK
• Inspection program PolyWorks Inspector
• Universal Robots 5 brand robot
• Turntable
• The entire workplace is controlled by a Siemens PLC system

This control workplace also has a self-calibration process and no demands are placed on normal operation.
